Concerned professionals and primatologists formed Chimp Haven to establish a state-of-the art facility for the care of the growing surplus chimpanzee population. Chimp Haven's Board of Directors, Advisory Board and associated professionals represent the best available consortium of knowledge in the care and well being of captive chimpanzees. Additionally, Chimp Haven's Partnership Program has established a solid working relationship with a diverse group of concerned stakeholders: the nation's largest and highly respected animal welfare organizations, major medical research institutions, pharmaceutical companies, and zoological organizations. Collectively, the broad knowledge base, strong relationships, and deep commitment to the welfare of chimpanzees combine as we work together to create a new model of care that is Chimp Haven.
