About Phyllis

Phyllis typically spends her days exploring the habitat and picking fresh vegetation, relaxing in a hammock, or down by the water with her best friend Sandy. Though she seems to enjoy foraging, Phyllis doesn’t turn down a chance to be pampered and have care staff wait on her. She is also a good climber of trees and “helper” –often encouraging other chimpanzees to shift indoors or outdoors when staff need to clean.
