TJ's Update

Summer has arrived at the sanctuary, and the chimps are loving the beautiful weather in sunny Louisiana!

Your best friend TJ is thriving this spring! He’s been enjoying his days, starting very early in the morning, perched on his structure, watching all the comings and goings of the sanctuary. And now, he has a new friend, Henry, to share this pastime with.

From the moment they were introduced, TJ and Henry really hit it off, immediately grooming and playing together. We’re so happy to see that their friendship has continued to grow – they’re still regular playmates and even occasional nesting buddies.

TJ is always down to play with anyone in his group, but Henry is an especially great candidate for a round of footsie – one of TJ’s favorite games.

Because of you, TJ is enjoying another beautiful season at Chimp Haven. Thank you for being his best friend!
