Current Opportunities
Chimpanzee Discovery Days
Twice each year, Chimp Haven opens its doors to the public for a morning of chimpanzee discovery and fun, and relies on volunteers to make these events special. Volunteers may lead educational activities and booths, greet visitors, and assist Chimp Haven staff.
Volunteer Requirements
17 years of age or older
Ability to be on feet for duration of volunteer experience
Completion of volunteer orientation

Other Things to Know
Due to the specialized training required to work with our chimpanzees, volunteers will not work directly with chimpanzees or in indoor areas where chimpanzees are housed.
At this time Chimp Haven offers local volunteer opportunities. We are not currently able to offer resident or remote opportunities.
