About Henry

Birthday: 1/1/85 | Member of Donovan’s Family

Chimp Haven’s only former pet, Henry, was found inside of the garage where he had lived in deplorable conditions for 15 years, severely underweight and almost completely bald due to malnutrition. Today, he is healthy and has overcome many of the struggles that coincide with transitioning from life as a pet to greater freedoms that Chimp Haven can provide. Not only has Henry adjusted well to living among other chimps, he has flourished in his group with Donovan and other friends. Henry can often be found at the top of a high platform, giving him the vantage point he needs to overlook the sanctuary.
