Smart, handsome boy Hobbes seems to have secured his role as alpha after his group’s former leader, Hugo, decided to take a back seat to leadership. Although he gets along well with his group and serves as a good mediator when conflict arises, the jury is out on whether he’s a good fit for the position. He keeps a careful eye on his biggest competition, Bart, who challenges him often. Not to worry, though, Hobbes has the backing of two strong, smart ladies in Maxi and Taffy. Taffy also happens to be Hobbes’s daughter, and she never hesitates to back up dad. His natural inclination to be nosy could serve him well as a leader, and when he’s not managing group dynamics, he loves to spy on the neighbors from the very top of his play structure. When he needs to recharge, Hobbes gets his R&R from the comfort of his favorite hammock.
