• This event is for ages 7+.
• We are located at 13600 Chimpanzee Pl, Keithville, LA 71047. As you arrive, follow the sign to Tours & Event Parking and park in the lot. From there, you’ll enter the black iron gate.
• Please have your Chimp Chat tickets pulled up on your phone or printed out to show staff at the front gate.
• Chimp Chat is held primarily outdoors – comfortable clothes and shoes are recommended. You may also want to bring a water bottle, hat, or sunscreen.
• Not feeling well? If you or anyone in your group has not been feeling well or has been around anyone who has been sick, we ask that you please make plans to attend a future event.
• Chimp Chat events typically occur rain or shine. No refunds are available for Chimp Chat, and all unused tickets are considered a donation to Chimp Haven. If an event must be cancelled by Chimp Haven, ticket holders may receive a refund or they may use their ticket to attend a rescheduled event (if available).
• Certified service animals are allowed, but please leave all other animals and pets at home.
• You are welcome to bring water or other beverages, but alcohol is not allowed on Chimp Haven property.

Chimp Haven welcomes and encourages visitors to take photographs for personal use and to share their experience at the sanctuary with friends and family. We would love for you to tag us on social media @ChimpHaven or using the hashtags #ChimpLife and #ChimpHaven.

While on the grounds, please know that visitors may be photographed or recorded on video by Chimp Haven photographers and videographers, and that these images and likeness therein may be used for the purpose of promoting Chimp Haven. You may choose to opt out by informing the photographer.

Chimp Haven strives to provide a memorable and educational experience for every visitor. Please be aware that our events and tours take place outdoors in the sanctuary’s rural setting, and that certain areas may be difficult to navigate for those with limited mobility. Our parking lot and walkways may also be muddy in the event of rain. While Chimp Haven vehicles are not wheelchair accessible, we may be able to accommodate individuals whose mobility allows them to stand briefly and ride in a golf cart. If someone in your party has limited mobility, please note this on your reservation form or reach out to us at events@chimphaven.org so we can discuss and plan suitable accommodations.

Chimp Chat events typically occur rain or shine. If the event must be cancelled because of inclement weather, ticket holders will be provided with tickets to a future or rescheduled event.
